BLACKENED CHICKEN RECIPE
March 2nd, 2009Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion flakes
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon sweet basil
1 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
salt to taste
Preparation:
Mix all spices together.
Dip chicken breasts in butter and then coat both sides with the seasoning mix.
Grill for 10 minutes per side.
After turning, baste the chicken with the remaining butter.
